So you end up with scenarios where the same file editors can be used for Mario Kart 8, Breath of the Wild, and Mario Odyssey (although each still has unique map placement files).Įditing console games also tends to be harder than editing PC games.
#All wind waker songs software
This can be really difficult if you don't have a software that helps you do it, so the most popular games tend to be edited more - the community already has developed the knowledge and tools.Īs games have grown more complex, the files tend to become even easier to extract and view, especially because games made by a single publisher tend to have similar filetypes.
It depends on the game, but 'newer' games (we're talking like, Wind Waker and newer here), you normally get the game files and edit them. Anyway yeah I'm just finding myself absolutely loving playing this game again, it's so beautiful looking, creative, tight controls, doesn't overextend itself, but god damn is it easy I really hope they retool it for the Switch release but they'll probably just rerelease WWHD lol. (edit: it is the least recent if you count the N64 on Switch release) After OoT it's the least recent one to get a rerelease.
WWHD came out like 8 years ago so a new release is kinda due imo. New combat moves and more uses for the spoils would be dope too but that's a reach maybe. New dungeon layouts with harder puzzles, maybe slightly longer. Also the upgrades are crazy- 100 arrows?! So yeah I would absolutely love a retooled WW for Switch with: Hero mode helps but combat is still pretty easy and the puzzles are way too simple.
Wind Waker I think is probably in the running for #1 along with OoT but damn is it easy.
